Finding reputable contractors is always stressful, but Mr. Russ Rogers of Wortham Brothers Roofing made this a relaxing and pleasant experience. Mr. Rogers explained every step, was present when the insurance adjusters came, ensured they included all damages in their assessment, and remained involved in the process through completion. That is just just the customer service! The quality of work is also outstanding! The roofers took care to preserve my landscaping, placed tarps around the house, and cleaned very well. I'm not overstating... of course I found a few nails but that's to be expected. I am so glad I took a chance and called Wortham Brothers when I heard their ad on a local radio station! I recently had an insurance claim of over $47,000 to replace my roof in Heath TX and I choose Wortham Bros, Inc! When you start getting bids, you come across all kinds contractors. Some of them wanted to: 1) Cut corners in order to help you save money on your Insurance deductible (that should give you a warning) 2) Others had big Better Business Bureau signs on their website but I could not verify BBB membership. 3) Most of them were not a member of the Good Contractors List That was a deal breaker for us! Wortham Bros, Inc is a member of the BBB and the Good Contractors List. Personally worked with Curt Johnson, and quickly established a report and trust. Can honestly say that I would recommend him and his organization to anyone that needs a roof replaced ~ Raul G

I am so appreciative of Will Drewry and his team of workers at Worthom Bros.Roofing. Nothing but the best. They came and worked so hard at replacing my damaged roof. Nothing but kindness and concern for taking care to make sure everything was done perfectly. They spent so much time afterwords doing cleanup work making sure nothing was left, especially roofing nails and trash. A job well done that I will praise and reference them to everyone I know. Parker Norris was so much help in making sure that I in fact got all of the recoverable deduction amount due to me, though my insurance company tried to shortchange me, Parker got it done. They made our claim process and roof installation in Farmersville so easy! Finding a good roofing company is dicey at best, so my husband and I were so pleased to find Wortham Bros Inc. While they are a large company based in McKinney and serving areas of Texas well beyond the DFW metroplex, their customer service is exemplary as you would expect of a family-owned business, which they are. When we originally called them last summer about a roof leak in my office, they scheduled an appointment for the following day. What a surprise when both Kevin Wortham, Sr. and Kevin Wortham, Jr. showed up for such a small job! We contracted with them to repair it and it was done quickly and well. The workmen were professional and courteous. So when we had to have our roof replaced in November due to the October tornado, we called Wortham again and had the same great service. Ben Wortham and his team were friendly, professional and exceeded our expectations. They removed and replaced our Roof Decking and Shingles, Mailbox, Window Screens and more. 5 stars are not enough! The hail storm that my family went through and the damage it caused to our roof presented a situation I haven't had to deal with (adulting stinks, right!). Roof damage is no joke and this is where Will Drewry, from Wortham Brothers Roofing, stepped in. From my initial call to the followup inspection, he was guiding me and keeping me updated. He walked this newbie through what to expect and always "shot straight" with me; whether it was how the insurance process was going to be or what would happen if the crew discovered additional issues during the re-roofing process. The roofing experience with WORTHAM Brother roofing in Austin was simply the best ever …. My roof is perfection and a level 4 shingle, which resist Hale damage in the future… I also had solar panels removed, and then they put the solar panels back on and recalibrated them with a solar panel expert as part of their company. Mr Cameron Elwell the Austin project manager performed the best customer service …. Comparable to a fine dining server experience. He insured awesome communication every day and every step of the way, and at the completion had all of my roof pipes painted in a new complementary color to the shingles. Then provided all the paperwork I needed for my insurance company to give me a discount Austin is very lucky that this McKinney Texas firm ‘WORTHAM BROTHERS ROOFING has taken up business here I cannot recommend a company more highly and I wanna thank … Cameron. ~ B B

We had an excellent experience with Will Drewry with Wortham Bros roofing today! From start to finish, he was professional, hardworking, and committed to making sure everything was done right. When the wrong color shingles were delivered, he immediately got on the phone, took care of the issue, and made sure the correct materials were brought out as quickly as possible. What impressed us most was his dedication to customer satisfaction. Even after the unexpected delay, he and his crew stayed late to complete the job rather than leaving it unfinished. Not only that but they left the yard looking better than they found it. The new roof looks fantastic, and it’s clear they take pride in their work. Wortham Brothers replaced our roof in Lewisville after extensive hail damage and I am very happy with the result. We went through a terrible insurance claim process, and Mike Barnett documented every step of the way. We ended up having to use pictures of the insurance adjuster's own roof marks to prove our claim, and this was all thanks to Mike's support. Furthermore, Mike ensured we could mitigate the damage with several tarping jobs and I am extremely grateful for the work he put in. Thanks to Gabe as well for working with the public adjuster too. Tom our salesman was fabulous. He evaluated our roof's condition, made recommendations on how to replace and improve our roof and gutter system. All the work was completed in one day and the clean up was spotless. Tom took care of all the interaction with our insurance company so we did not have to get involved at all. I recommended him to many of my neighbors and friends and everyone was as pleased with him as I was. He is honest and trustworthy. Never asked for a dime to start the job as so many of roofers out there. do His company has been around for a long time and you don't stay in the roofing business for this long if you aren't customer service orientated. ~ Lenny P

My roof was totaled by my Insurance company (this damage also included interior leaks) so I performed research on roofing companies and my data indicated Wortham Bros. was my best bet looking at cost, self-insured, manufacturing materials used and cycle-time. In particular Tom Liedtke (Contractor Lead) explained all processes in detail including the time frame. Work was performed according to my expectations and 18 months later no issues have occurred. The folks who worked on my roof and repaired the interior ceilings & walls were courteous and left the premises as they found them (with all repairs completed). I used Wortham brothers to replace my roof after extensive internal damage from a roof leak. Ben and his team were incredibly helpful in a number of ways: 1) evaluating the needs of the roof with expert evaluation 2) working with my insurance adjuster taking out some of the stressors for me to ensure appropriate coverage 3) being patient and thorough in explaining timelines, next steps, etc. with my multiple questions 4) a timely job well done and closing out the task. Kevin Wortham was extremely Knowledgeable & Professional. Crew was on time & spent 2 plus days with a total reroof including several of my wife's upgrades. They are fixing to handle replacing existing gutters with some additions as well. He did not remember having done roof 20 plus years ago from another of TX great hail storms. Back then they were still a small growing local company, they now are in 4 TX. cities. 10 years later after another hit from mother nature,& ins. $ claim told Roof did not need replacement he as well as 2 other Co. told did not need to be replaced. Put funds in saving acct. & hang on to. If it ever occurs again, fingers crossed, they would be my 1st call. Mike G. ~ G W

After a severe hail storm, we needed a new roof (among other things) so we started accepting bids. During the process, we met Curt Johnson with Wortham Brothers. Curt is a pleasure to work with and patiently explains each step of the process which are rare traits when dealing with General Contractors. He is professional, timely, and honest. What a wonderful experience! 13 years ago when we built our home.....Wortham installed our roof And came out every year for an inspection (at no charge)..... Now after all this time and because of new home insurance guidelines we replaced some shingles Venting.. caluking.....(general Full replacement)....... 9k Annette in the office was very professional and right to the point with pricing and installation..... I have known the the Worthams almost my whole life. They are hands down some of the best people i know. The owners Dave and Steve are the type of owners who stand behind everything they do. They are like that grandfather figure who doesn't take any slack, always speaks the truth whether you wanna hear it or not, but loves you up and is there for you in the end. The first in last out kind of guys. Most everyone i know family, friends, people from school and church have used them for the 35+ years they have been around. Curt Johnson came out to take a look at our roof in Collin County today, and was tremendously impressive. A salesman from another company had told us we needed a new roof, did a survey and was hustling us to put in a claim. We went looking for a second opinion, and Curt came highly recommended. He did his survey, and was totally honest about the state of our roof - he advised us to wait until there was another serious storm, as he was skeptical that the insurance company would approve a claim at this time, and felt that the roof is in solid shape. He has a background as a general contractor, and in the course of his survey gave generous, clear and detailed advice about the other issues facing our home, and the order in which we should do the jobs, to no profit of his own. It's such a joy to find an upright, hardworking and honest contractor. When the time does come for a new roof, Curt and Wortham Brothers will be our first call. ~ Rosemary A

Between myself and some family Members, Ben Wortham has replaced 5 roofs for us from hail damage. It is always a smooth process from initial inspection, to dealing with insurance, and then having a new roof and gutters. Each time a new hail storm blows through they are quick to come by and inspect your roof at no cost to make sure you’re safe and aren’t at risk of taking on water into your house. My aunt talked to multiple roofing contractors and appreciated how Wortham wasn’t pushy, or acting as if the job was already awarded to them like “the other guys” were. You get the comfort and friendliness of a real family business and not just some shady contractor thats been selling roofs for two weeks and shows up in a $150,000 truck letting you know you’re about to get ripped off. Wortham Bros. installed our roof when the house was build three years ago. We recently discovered that some of the shingles had come loose. I called Wortham Bros. regarding the warranty, and Jake came out immediately to take a look. Upon inspecting the roof he found that many of the shingles were defective. That day he had a crew out patching the areas with loose shingles, and he began the warranty process with the shingle manufacturer. That process took some time, but Jake stayed in touch keeping me up to date. Once the shingle company approved the warranty claim his crew was out within days to replace the roof. The job was done quickly, and the crew took care to make sure the pool and the area around it were protected from the debris of replacing a roof. They were also thorough in cleaning up afterwards. Jake and his crew did a great job, were professional and responsive and made the whole process easy on me. Thank you. ~ Zach O

Due to the recent hail storm we had in Whitewright, our roof needed to be replaced. Will Drury stopped by and answered all our questions. He very clearly explained the process and next steps. He was very punctual and in constant communication with us and we had no unexpected surprises. Everything happened just as he had explained. Great experience with Sam at Wortham Brothers!! Amidst all the stress that comes with selling a home, my inspection came back with a required roof repair and I struggled to find a local company that wasn’t going to charge an arm and a leg for a minor fix. A friend recommended Wortham Bros and despite the company being based out of the north Dallas area they were willing to come out and service my home in Fort Worth!! In the 30 years I have lived in my home I’ve had to have my roof replaced a few times. Gabriel with Wortham Roofing was by far the best roofer I’ve ever used and I will continue to use him from now on. I absolutely love the work ethic of this team and then going above and beyond.
